Martin Roth’s ascent through the ranks of trance music’s biggest
stars has been somewhat meteoric. In the past twelve months his remixes
for Paul Van Dyk on “The Other Side”, Thrillseekers on “By your Side”,
Keane “Last Time” and Blank & Jones on “Perfect Silence” and “Mind
of the Wonderful” have pricked the ears of every major DJ, A&R guru
and trance music follower across the globe.
The thirty one year old Frankfurt based DJ / producer made his
breakthrough in the trance scene over two years ago with a remake of
Cygnus X’s classic track “The Orange Theme”, receiving huge coverage
from the major DJs.
Around the same time, Paul Van Dyk discovered Martin’s track
“Energize”, released under the project name Technopunk and remixed it
for his own label Vandit, resulting in a huge amount of interest in
Martin’s productions.
