But you don't often read that someone already was one the internationally most important producers from germany, before he started his career as a DJ. Tillmann Uhrmacher belongs to this anomaly. He landed his first number 1 Hit in the german single charts with his project "Myterious Art" and the track "Das Omen", already back in 1989. Almost 500.000 singles were sold and also the hitlists of the rest of the world were conquered. The Pop-olympus was lying to his feet and he was working a producer and remixer for the hippest acts of those times, such as Marky Mark, Jimmy Sommerville, Inner Circle, Babyface,

Before Tillmann had his breakthrough in the music scene, he completed a solid education, which was going to be very important for his later life. As a volontary at important german Radio Stations he learned everything in the radio business from the scratch.
1990 he started the radio show "Maximal". Today this show is 18 years old and therefore the eldest radio show for electronic dance music in Germany. With the radio show as a support he became also more famous as a DJ.
The interst for clubsound had also an effecct on the studio work of Tillmann.
In 2005 Tillmann Uhrmacher was nominated for the DANCE MUSIC AWARD in the category "Best Trance Artist".
